The goal bar is the widget most streamers add first, and for good reason: it turns a number that only you can see into something the whole room can follow. In PKTOK the widget is called Daily coin goal, and it is one of the 23 overlay widgets included in the dashboard.
What it does
You set a coin target on the Widgets page. The widget then shows three things and keeps them current: the coins received so far in the running broadcast, that number as a percentage of your target, and a bar that fills as the percentage climbs. Underneath sits a small line with the target itself, so a viewer who just joined understands the scale without you explaining it.
One detail worth knowing, because the widget's name suggests otherwise: the bar tracks the current broadcast, not the calendar day. When you go live again tomorrow — or later the same evening — it starts from zero. The number in the bar is always "this stream", never a running total from yesterday.
What it looks like
A compact card: eyebrow label, the coin total in large type, the percentage on the right, and the progress bar below. It comes in the three PKTOK widget looks — neon (the dark glass default), minimal and cute — plus an optional animated mode. You pick a look for the whole channel and can override it for this one widget if the goal bar needs to sit on a busier corner of your scene. The bar animates smoothly rather than jumping, because the widget patches its own numbers instead of redrawing itself.
How to set it up
Every PKTOK widget is a normal browser source — nothing to install:
- Open the Widgets page in your PKTOK dashboard and set the coin target for the goal.
- Copy the link on the Daily coin goal card. It looks like
https://app.pktok.com/widgets/your-channel/daily-goal?token=… - In OBS or TikTok LIVE Studio add a Browser source and paste the link.
- Size the source to fit the corner where you want it. Unlike the full-screen video layer, widgets have no fixed resolution — give it whatever box looks right.
The widget refreshes about every two seconds on its own. When no broadcast is running it shows a quiet waiting card instead of stale totals, so a forgotten source never displays last night's numbers to today's viewers. Changing the look or the target in the dashboard reaches the source within a couple of seconds — no re-pasting.
During a PK battle
Battles are where a goal bar earns its place, because a battle already has a score on screen — the one TikTok draws — and that score resets with every round. The goal bar is the opposite: it is the line that keeps running across the whole session, so the stream still has continuity between rounds. Streamers who run long rematch series often park the goal bar in a fixed corner precisely for that reason, and use it as the thing they talk about while waiting to be matched.
If your scene is crowded during battles, remember the widget is its own source. Hiding it for the battle scene and showing it between rounds is a one-click scene setting — nothing in PKTOK needs to change.

Can I change the target mid-stream?
Yes. Save a new target on the Widgets page and the bar recalculates on its next refresh, within about two seconds. You do not need to restart the source, the stream, or anything else.
What happens if the goal is passed?
The bar stays full and the percentage keeps counting above 100%, so a strong stream still shows the real number instead of freezing at "done".
Does the goal bar reset every day or every stream?
Every broadcast. Despite the "daily" name, the widget counts the coins of the stream that is running right now and starts fresh with the next one.
Can I use it in OBS as well as TikTok LIVE Studio?
Yes — it is the same browser source link in both, and it also works in Streamlabs or any other app with a browser source. Only the resolution handling differs between apps, and widgets have no fixed resolution to begin with.
