A follower goal is the classic "give the stream a target" widget, and PKTOK has it — with one thing said clearly up front, because it decides whether this is the widget you are looking for.
What it counts (read this first)
The follower widgets count the new followers you gain during the running broadcast. They do not display your channel's total follower count. When you go live, the number starts at zero and climbs as people follow you during the stream.
That is a deliberate limit, not an oversight: PKTOK reads what happens in your live room, and a follow event in that room is exactly what it can see. If what you want on screen is "1.2M followers", this is the wrong widget — no browser source in PKTOK shows that. If what you want is "we picked up 37 new followers tonight, target 50", this is precisely the widget.
What it does
You set a follower target on the Widgets page. The card then shows the new-follower count for this broadcast, that count as a percentage of your target, and a bar that fills as it climbs — the same layout as the coin goal bar, so a scene running both stays visually consistent.
Three siblings read the same data, each its own browser source:
- New followers — the plain counter, no target, for streamers who do not want a goal on screen.
- Newest follower — the most recent new follower on a card with their profile picture.
- Newest followers — the last five as a list. It is chronological and deliberately not numbered: a follow has no score, so a rank column would imply an order that does not exist. Handy when you want to thank several people at once.
What it looks like
A compact goal card: label, the count in large type, the percentage on the right, the progress bar underneath, and a small line naming the target. Available in the three PKTOK looks — neon (dark glass, the default), minimal and cute — with an optional animated mode. You set the look for the whole channel and can override it for this one widget.
How to set it up
- Open the Widgets page in your PKTOK dashboard and save a follower target.
- Copy the link on the Follower goal card:

- Size the source to fit your scene — widgets have no fixed resolution.
The card refreshes about every two seconds and shows a waiting state when no broadcast is running, so it never displays a finished stream's numbers. A new target saved mid-stream is picked up within a couple of seconds; there is nothing to re-paste.
During a PK battle
A battle brings the opponent's audience into your room — that is the whole mechanic — and a share of those visitors follow you and never send a single gift. The follower goal is the widget that makes that visible. The gift score belongs to the round and disappears with it; the follows you gained stay yours after the round is over.
Practically: streamers running a long rematch series often keep the follower bar in a corner through the whole session and use it as the "how did tonight actually go" number, separate from who won which round.
FAQ
Can it show my total follower count instead?
No. PKTOK counts the follows that happen in your live room during the broadcast. Your channel total is not something the widget reads.
Does the count reset every stream?
Yes. Each broadcast starts from zero, which is what makes the goal meaningful for that session.
What if someone unfollows?
The widget counts follow events in the room during the broadcast; it is a tally of what happened live, not a net balance of your follower list.
Can I run the follower goal and the coin goal at the same time?
Yes. They are separate browser sources with the same card design, so stacking them in one corner looks intentional rather than mismatched.
