Missing a gift is the small failure every TikTok LIVE streamer knows: the chat is moving, you are mid-sentence, and someone's name scrolls past before you can read it. The Latest gift widget fixes that by holding the most recent gift on your overlay until the next one replaces it.
What it does
The widget shows one gift at a time — the newest one of the running broadcast. The card carries the gift's own icon, the sender's display name, the gift's name with its repeat count (for example Rose ×10), and the coin value of that send. When a new gift arrives, the card changes to it.
It is a persistent card, not a pop-up notification that disappears after a few seconds. That is a deliberate difference: a card that stays on screen can be read whenever you glance at it, including a full minute after the gift landed, which is usually when you finally get the chance to say thank you.
Two neighbours in the same family: Gift ticker scrolls the last twelve gifts as a full-width bar along the top or bottom of your scene, and Biggest gift holds the largest single gift of the broadcast rather than the newest. Pick whichever matches how you like to work — or run more than one, since each is its own source.
What it looks like
A single compact card: the gift image on the left, the sender's name and the gift line in the middle, and the coin value on the right. Names made entirely of invisible characters fall back to the @ handle so the card is never blank. Three looks are available — neon, minimal, cute — plus an animated mode where a new gift flies the card in instead of swapping it silently. In animated mode, a repeat gift from the same sender still re-animates, because the card's identity includes the send itself.
How to set it up
- Open the Widgets page in your PKTOK dashboard.
- Copy the link on the Latest gift card:
https://app.pktok.com/widgets/your-channel/latest-gift?token=… - Add a Browser source in OBS or TikTok LIVE Studio and paste the whole link.
- Size the box to taste. Widgets have no fixed resolution, so the card simply fills what you give it.
The source polls about every two seconds. Off air it shows a waiting card rather than the last gift of a finished stream. If the connection blips for a moment, the widget keeps the last good card on screen instead of flashing an error at your viewers — errors only appear after a sustained outage.
During a PK battle
Battles are exactly when names get lost. The score bar is moving, the timer is loud, and you are watching the other side. A card that holds the last gift means you can thank the person who just tipped the round without asking chat "who was that?" — which is the question that breaks the moment.
Placement matters more than usual here: during a battle TikTok's own interface occupies the top of the screen, so a low corner keeps the card readable. Because it is a separate browser source, you can also give the battle scene its own position for it without touching anything in PKTOK.

Is this a gift alert with sound?
The widget itself is silent — it is a visual card. PKTOK does have a separate sound system where a gift can be assigned a sound effect, and that runs on the overlay layer, not in this widget. Gifts do not trigger videos in PKTOK; a gift can carry a sound, not a clip.
How long does a gift stay on screen?
Until the next gift arrives. There is no timer — an hour-long quiet stretch leaves the last gift readable the whole time.
Does it show gift combos correctly?
Yes. The card shows the gift name with its repeat count and the coin value of that send, so a ×50 combo reads as one card, not fifty.
Can I show the newest gift and a leaderboard together?
Yes — add both browser sources. Latest gift covers the moment, Top gifters covers the session, and they read the same live data.
