TikTok shows your like count on your own screen, briefly, in a place you cannot style and your OBS scene cannot use. PKTOK's Like counter widget puts the same number on your overlay as a browser source — and adds the one figure TikTok does not give you: how fast the likes are actually arriving.
What it does
The card shows two numbers. The big one is the like total for the running broadcast. Under it sits the likes-per-minute rate, calculated over a rolling 60-second window — the number that tells you whether the room is warming up or cooling down while you are talking.
Both are per broadcast, because that is how TikTok's like count works: it belongs to the live room and resets when you start a new one. The widget follows that rule rather than inventing a running total, so what your overlay shows and what TikTok shows agree.
The rate deliberately under-reports during the first minute of a stream instead of spiking to a nonsense number while the window fills up.
The like family: goal, top liker, latest liker
Three related widgets read the same live like data, each its own browser source:
- Like goal — a filling bar toward a like target you set on the Widgets page. The counter says how many; the goal bar says how far.
- Top liker and Top likers — the single biggest liker of the broadcast on a trophy card, or the top five as a list.
- Latest liker — who liked most recently, and how many likes they have sent in this broadcast.
One honest note about the per-viewer widgets: TikTok does not send an event for every individual tap — it batches them, and on a busy room only about a third of the flow arrives with a sender attached. PKTOK scales the per-person tallies back up so they line up with the room's real total, but a per-viewer number is an estimate, while the overall counter above is TikTok's own figure. On rooms where TikTok attributes no likes at all, those widgets say so plainly instead of showing a made-up name.
How to set it up
- Open the Widgets page in your PKTOK dashboard (set a like target too if you also want the goal bar).
- Copy the link on the Like counter card:

- Size it however you like — widgets have no fixed resolution.
It refreshes about every two seconds. Off air it shows a waiting card, never a finished stream's totals. Three looks are available — neon, minimal and cute — with an optional animated mode, set channel-wide or per widget.
During a PK battle
Likes do not decide a PK battle — gift points do. That is exactly why the like counter is useful during one: it is a live read on how many people are actually watching and reacting, independent of the score. A round can be lost on points while the room is more active than it has been all night, and the likes-per-minute number is the only place you can see that in real time.
It is also the widget that survives a rematch chain unchanged. Battle-specific widgets like Battle supporters go quiet between rounds by design; the like counter keeps running the whole session.
FAQ
Why does my like total look different from TikTok's?
The overall counter is TikTok's own room total, so it should match. Per-viewer numbers in the top-liker widgets are scaled estimates, and those can differ from TikTok's own ranking — that difference is in the per-person tallies, not in the room total.
Does the counter reset between broadcasts?
Yes, because TikTok's like count itself is per room. A new broadcast starts at zero.
Can I set a like goal instead of a counter?
Yes — that is the separate Like goal widget. Set the target on the Widgets page and add its own browser source. Many streamers run both: the counter for the number, the bar for the progress.
Why is my top-liker card empty while likes are clearly coming in?
That means TikTok is sending the likes for that room without a sender attached, so there is nobody to name. The counter keeps working; the per-viewer widgets tell you what is happening rather than guessing.
